There is an increasingly widespread use of facial recognition technology by law enforcement to identify and target protesters, seriously undermining their right to assemble freely. In the last couple of years, many designers have proposed using complicated makeup techniques to prevent facial recognition.

This object design is based on “CV Dazzle” by Adam Harvey and the research of Feng and Prabhakaran in their article “Facilitating Fashion Camouflage Art,” but unlike in their proposal, the emphasis here is on the ability to quickly camouflage oneself so you can pass the kit onward to your fellow protester.
