MULTIFUNCTIONING PROTEST SIGN / COME PREPARED IN CASE THINGS GET UGLY
This unsuspecting protest sign can help stop the spread of tear gas. It seems that today though, it doesn't take much for police forces to decide that a gathering is unlawful and try to disperse crowds with tear gas canisters. There are some fascinating methods developed by protestors to try and stop the dispersal of tear gas, most involving objects such as traffic cones or pails. Unfortunately, traffic cones are not always available on every street corner, and walking around a protest with one just case isn’t always such a viable solution. This design uses the common protest plaque material -cardboard boxes- to make a sign that can immediately turn into a containment device for tear gas canisters.
